Good location, cozy rooms, clean, comfortable, comfortable bed.
Lack of drinking water in the hotel.

here we were in front of few of our favorite spots such as thessaloniki archaeological museum. rooms in metropolitan were very clean. free wi fi was a pleasant addition.

The beds were comfortable. We had ample hot water which was nice. The hotels was near the waterfront. Close to cafes and shopping.
Thought the room was a bit narrow. We stayed in a triple and the ends of the beds were close to the wall making it difficult to navigate through the room. The abandoned factory/warehouse next door was troubling

Decent 3 star hotel. Only paid 50 euros per room with breakfast so i cant say that im not pleased of what i received. Good value for money i guess. Nothing annoying or disappointing to report.

Friendly and helpful staff, good location for my business needs.
The lift was a little worring, stopping short of the ground floor on one occasion and with odd arrangement of outer and inner doors. I booked a double room and got a twin room, I would have asked to be moved but the hotel had a large number of lively students from the USA there and I wanted to avoid being close to them so I accepted the room.

This hotel is well located in the center of the city and we were lucky enough to park right in front - I think this was an exception and that it could be more problematic at busier times. The room and facilities are okay for the price. The beds are confortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing to complain about. The hotel is a fair deal for the price.

Is not worth the money, the rooms look very old, the TV was not working, the heating was working but it was not enough because the room was very cold. The bahtroom was in very poor shape, the bathtub was damaged in few places and the sink was in poor shape. Again is not worth the money

The Metropolitan is well situated for buses to and from the city centre and to and from the airport in Thessaloniki, there are also many shops, banks and a post office within a couple of minutes walk of the hotel. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful and many of them spoke English which was a huge advantage given my lack of Greek
The only thing I would suggest as an improvement to this hotel would be the provision of tea and coffe making facilities in the rooms

Friendly and efficient staff, very reliable on wake-up calls. Excellent breakfast buffet (included in the room price).
Master switch shuts off everything, including airconditioner, when key card is removed. However, staff will gladly provide second key card that can be left in the switch slot, keep airconditioner going. Like most smaller buildings in Greece, it has well-functioning but tiny elevators that can accommodate only three averaqge persons at a time, or one person with two-three pieces of luggage.

Very pleasant staff
Carpets full of bleached stains The water from the shower kept changing from freezing cold to boiling hot every few seconds. The staff obviously knows about it and all they asked me when I told them was if it had been much of a problem (???)

The room was ok and the breakfast substantial.
Only the TV did not work, probably because the batteries.
